I think the windmills are beautiful, whats not beautiful are the power lines and the elevators. If the intention of the photos was to incite a negative response to the windmills based on aesthetic reasons, the photos failed.

Goodness, that is SO not how we operate. You must be new here. :^) The top two photos were simply taken from the (pro-wind) photographer’s farmyard, where power lines and silos are a fact of life. Then she took the time to travel a bit farther, which is where the third shot came from.

Some of the windmills can be seen from the top floor of NIU’s library looking westward.
